Invitation for Prayer and Fasting Jan 31-Feb 1

Fasting and Prayer for marriagesInvitation to Prayer and Fasting…. Tuesday night after dinner to Wednesday night dinner.

Marriages….for us spouses to understand marriage is a ministry…even in the hard times when we feel like giving up…marriage is a shadow of how Christ loves the church…Jesus never fails us!

Singles…to understand in their waiting…their singleness is a ministry…as they are married to Christ..

Unity in the Body of Christ…here, there, everywhere as the enemy continues to torment, deceive, & lie… satan tears at the Body limb by limb trying to destroy the love and grace that came at such a high price…
Proverbs 6:16-19  There are six things the LORD hates— no, seven things he detests: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren (Body of Christ.)

Humility and a desire for the ministry of reconciliation to flood our souls that we may glorify God… Jesus is coming…He warns us the very elect will be decieved and hearts will wax cold…

This invitation is to invite you to know others are fasting and you can join in with those things that are
heavy on your heart…whatever they may be, wherever you may be…we can fast and pray together :) You are in good
company… 22 different churches in 10 different states and 3 Continents! The Body of Christ coming together! There
is Power in the Blood!

John 16:13-14  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

It is comforting to know that we have the Spirit of truth who guides us into all truth…how do we know if we are on the right track? Whatever the Spirit tells us it will glorify God. We can ask ourselves…does this glorify God or does it glorify me? Are my words pleasing to the Lord or are they pleasing to my flesh? Are my actions reflecting the nature of Jesus or the enemy? Let’s not forget our thoughts… as this is where satans war grounds are…tearing down every thought captive into the obedience of Christ…remember satan is the accuser of the brethren and if he can get us in our minds…we become enslaved to lies and the bondages of tormentors.

Keep in mind the scriptures tell us Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].  (NLT)For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. If we are wrestling, its not against each other, we have become pawns or have been influenced in satans schemes to be distracted off of the kingdom of God and on ourselves.

Sometimes we as believers…forget to Believe…Believe the truth of God’s Word…and become entangled with the web of destruction, we go down the path of UT OH…although there are consequences there is also forgiveness to be received after repentance is offered. Fortify our hearts with the promises of God’s Word and be ready for battle knowing the Truth of our identity in Christ. May we all ever be growing and changing in the Image of Christ on a daily basis!

2 Cor 3:17-18) For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

We must be INTENTIONAL to live out Jesus…Amen!

With much love for the Body of Christ~sister Debbie
